Friendly staff and prices

I can’t say enough good things about Animal Hospital of Richmond. After bailing from another vet in town for a variety of reasons, we found Dr. Teders. She’s been tireless in her efforts to diagnose and treat our two rescue dogs, Max and Bear. Bear has chronic kidney disease, and was written off as doomed by another vet. Dr. Teders spent time researching possible treatments, and since getting Bear on his current medication, his bloodwork and UAs have been normal. Amazing. Max was in terrible shape when we got him, and Dr. Teders has helped get him back to as close to a normal state of health as possible. Both dogs seem healthy, happy, and comfortable, and we can’t ask for more than that. I’d recommend Animal Hospital of Richmond to anyone seeking good, honest, effective, and empathetic care for their pets. 

The staff is so friendly! The love you show to my animal is exactly what I want from a vet!

Knowledgeable, fast service, friendly staff, and they actually followed up on his recovery. 

Dr. Senderak was very straight forward and honest about the condition of a cat I rescued. The cat was not in good shape and she let me know up front that it would be a very costly and lengthy treatment plan for her. She then offered suggestions as to what she felt was best to do going forward. I really liked how she let me know upfront instead of just charging me to do one thing and then adding additional things to the cost later instead of being honest upfront like many other veterinarians have done in the past. She was also very tolerant of my out of control toddler during the entire appointment. She was very sweet and understanding, although I was mortified by my little girls behavior, I was relieved that she did not react poorly to the situation and even tried to help me calm my daughter. I would definately reccomend her to anyone looking for an honest and caring doctor for their pet. I will also be coming to her for all my veterinarian needs in the future.
